AIGC officer Edward T. Russell has been elected to the Board of Overseers of the Plimoth Plantation. Ed was also recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, in which organization he has long served as Human Resource Committee Chair.

James W. Spindler, President of the AIGC, has recently led efforts to develop a working relationship between AIGC members and Assigned Counsel, Inc. Jim continues to work as independent general counsel for technology companies providing advice and assistance in a variety of corporate and contract matters

J. Alden "Tad" Lincoln served as moderator of a conference entitled "Accident Prevention and Environmental Health & Safety Management" sponsored by Northeast Business Environmental Network (NBEN) held recently at Raytheon Company headquarters.

Tom Peterson has returned to the AIGC fold as counsel for a multinational process controls manufacturer, a multinational materials research company, a pharmaceutical research laboratory and a Swedish health food distributor.

AIGC membership officer William F. Swiggart and associate member Warren E. Agin have formed the law firm of Swiggart & Agin, LLC, with offices at 45 School Street, Boston, MA, effective January 4, 1999.
