This issue begins a new column on the selected recent doings of AIGC members, as follows:
James W. Spindler recently pro-vided legal services to Royalty Capital Management, Inc. of Lexington, Mass., in its formation of a $2.57 million fund. The fund offers an alternative to venture capital through the financing of companies in exchange for a blanket royalty on companies' product sales.
Jeffrey A. Levine is implementing the leveraged buy-out of a company over time using a newly formed joint venture, and recently assembled another joint venture company in the Middle East.
Edward Russell was recently asked to organize the Human Resource Advisory Committee of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, and moderated its May seminar on legal personnel and recruiting issues.
Tom L. Peterson and William C. Munroe served as speakers on international transactions at the November 1994 New England Corporate Counsel's Association ("NECCA") meeting, and J. Alden Lincoln recently counseled a number of manufacturing companies on "Audited Self Enforcement" in a workshop sponsored by the Northeast Business Environmental Network. William F. Swiggart just concluded a reverse split refinancing that substantially reduced a company's classes of stock outstanding, thus paving the way for future financings.
